About the role:The focus of this role is the safe and timely building, installation, commissioning and servicing of Electric Centre Pivot & Linear Move Irrigators and associated control systems including GPS & Telemetry systems; pump controls, variable speed drives, electric & diesel pumps & controls, flow meters and filter assemblies. Working closely with the sales team and with the end-user, you will be able to provide information related to the product and the desired solution. You will have the responsibility for product selection, process improvement, pricing, product development and liaison with suppliers, whilst ensuring that activities are completed safely, to a high standard and specified deadlines.
About You:To be successful you must demonstrate a proven commitment to safety as well as experience in a similar role performing electrical work, installing and maintaining automation systems, preferably within the irrigation industry or precision farming environment. With an Electrical Trade Qualification, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge Centre Pivot & Linear Move Irrigators and other electrical control systems, strong troubleshooting skills. You must possess a current drivers’ licence and due to the nature of some projects you must be available to work on remote locations and outside standard hours when required.
