Centre Pivot Training Day

Kim Chandler - Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Training Day

Centre Pivot Fault Finding Training

The intent of the training day is to educate owners or their staff in how their centre pivots work. The training will cover simple fault finding techniques with instruction and practice on in field repairs. The course will be concentrating on Lindsay Zimmatic Centre Pivots, however for those who own another brand of electrically driven pivot, the control systems and fault finding procedures are similar & understanding how your pivot works will assist you in the field.
After the one day course you will be able, if you wish, to repair most in field electrical problems with your pivot, or be able to give the staff at TEAM Irrigation an indication of what the problem may be with your pivot, either approach will help keep money in your pocket.
The three most important tools for “Pivot Fault Finding” are commonsense, eyesight and an insulation tester “Megger”. We have organised to have “Meggers” available at the course if you wish to purchase one.

Conversion Upgrades for Competitive Brand Systems

Kim Chandler - Monday, July 25, 2011
Most centre pivot structures will outlast the drive train and alignment components by several years. To improve functionality of your existing centre pivot, Lindsay has developed a line of quality components to fit non-Zimmatic systems in order to maximise value & optimise the performance of centre pivots already in operation.

The attached Product Insight (4.72 MB) allows you to determine which options will best fit your non-Zimmatic machine in order to maintain and improve its performance and reliability.

Zimmatic Conversion Competitive Upgrade

Saving older pivots with Lindsay Zimmatic parts

Kim Chandler - Tuesday, July 19, 2011
Did you know that you can salvage your old centre pivot irrigators and lateral move irrigators with Lindsay Zimmatic parts, no matter what brand of irrigator you may have?

Zimmatic spans, gearboxes, control systems and sprinkler packs can all be fitted to your existing irrigation equipment, no matter what brand it is. If you have a Valley, T-L or Tyco irrigator, TEAM Irrigation has the Zimmatic irrigation components to either repair damaged parts or replace components with Zimmatic improved technology.
